Trust & Verification
Last updated: 2026-07-21
FUNDOMNIA only lists funding that comes from official sources, is checked by a human before it appears, and links back to the original so you can verify it yourself. Here is exactly how we work — and what we will never do.
Official sources only
Every opportunity is ingested from an authoritative, first-party source — for example Grants.gov (U.S. federal government), Innovation Canada / ISED open data, and the European Commission's Funding & Tenders Portal. We do not repost from blogs, aggregators or unverified lists.
Provenance & source tiers
Each listing carries an evidence bundle: the exact source URL, the retrieval date, a content fingerprint, and the connector version that produced it. Sources are tiered by authority (Tier A = official government or institutional). Nothing is published without a verifiable official link.
Human review before publication (§6A)
Automated ingestion never publishes on its own — it can only fill a review queue. A person reviews entries before they go live. For high-authority government sources, the platform owner has delegated a narrow, auditable auto-approval rule (verifiable official URL + a real structured amount + a valid, non-expired deadline); everything else stays queued for manual review. Every publication writes an append-only review and audit record.
We never invent data
Amounts, deadlines and eligibility are only ever what the official source states. When the source doesn't specify an amount or date, we leave it blank and say so — we never guess, pad or fabricate a figure.
Freshness & re-verification
Listings are dated and periodically re-checked against their source; expired calls are not auto-published, and a scheduled freshness job flags stale entries for review. If a source changes, the evidence trail shows what changed and when.
Transparent, rule-based matching
Your eligibility results come from a deterministic, explainable rule engine — not an opaque score. You can see why an opportunity matched (legal eligibility, geography, applicant fit). It is a helpful estimate to guide you, never a decision.
What FUNDOMNIA is not
We are not a funder, lender, agent, broker or application processor, and we do not take a cut of any funding. We never guarantee that an opportunity will be approved, paid or recovered — those decisions belong solely to the independent funders and institutions.
