Fundraiser Terms & Anti-Fraud Policy

These terms apply to community fundraisers on FUNDOMNIA. In short: we host and verify campaigns, we never hold or move the money, and we act firmly against fraud. Not legal or tax advice.
What a FUNDOMNIA fundraiser is — and isn't
FUNDOMNIA hosts and verifies community fundraisers so donors can give with more confidence. We are not the fundraiser, we do not receive, hold, transmit or disburse any funds, we take no cut, and we do not guarantee that a goal will be met or that funds will be used as described.
Who may create one
You may create a fundraiser only for a genuine need, with accurate information about yourself, the beneficiary and the purpose, and for a lawful cause. One person is responsible for each campaign and must be reachable for verification.
Verification before publishing
Every campaign is human-reviewed before it can appear publicly. We may ask for supporting documents (photos, legal documents, proof) and may contact you. Only reviewed, published campaigns are shown; a "Verified" badge means it passed our review — not that we endorse or guarantee it.
Truthfulness — prohibited conduct
You must not make any false or misleading statement, submit fake, forged or altered documents, impersonate anyone, or misrepresent the beneficiary or how funds will be used. Any such conduct will lead to suspension or cancellation of the campaign, and may be reported to the relevant authorities and payment providers.
How donations work
Donors give on the organizer's OWN external payment page (their Stripe/PayPal/MonCash/bank link). FUNDOMNIA never sees, receives or holds the money. Amounts raised and donor counts shown are reported by the organizer and verified by our team where possible — treat them as reported, not guaranteed.
Organizer responsibilities
You must use the funds for the stated purpose and beneficiary, keep your campaign honest and up to date, respond to verification or correction requests, and comply with all applicable laws (including tax and, where relevant, charity/solicitation rules).
Guidance for donors
Our verification reduces risk but cannot eliminate it. Give at your own discretion, only what you're comfortable with, and to campaigns you trust. Donations are made through the organizer's payment provider; any refund is handled by that provider, not by FUNDOMNIA.
Suspension & removal
We may pause, unpublish or remove any fundraiser at our discretion — in particular on a credible concern of fraud, misuse, or a breach of these terms — and we may preserve related records for investigation.
Your documents & privacy
Supporting documents are stored privately and used only for verification; they are never shown publicly. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
Report a fundraiser
If a campaign looks false, misleading or fraudulent, tell us at support@fundomnia.org and we will review it promptly.
Not legal or tax advice; changes
Donations to a fundraiser are generally NOT tax-deductible unless the organizer is a registered charity that explicitly says so. We may update these terms and will revise the date above.
